Position Overview:The Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for driving corporate and business travel sales for the hotel, fostering relationships with key corporate clients, travel management companies, and meeting planners. This role will focus on maximizing revenue from business travelers, corporate accounts, and long-term stays. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships with corporate clients to generate business growth.
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the cleanliness and overall maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The Supervisor leads and motivates the housekeeping team, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction are consistently met.
Responsible for providing quality guest service as it pertains to checking in/out of hotel guests; PBX operations to include mail/message service; taking hotel reservations; concierge services in a gracious and professional manner.
To supervise, direct, assist, and assure the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to Room Attendants and Housepersons in guest rooms and corridors to maintain Interstate’s high standards of cleanliness.
Greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and closes out guest accounts upon completion of stay, as well as ensuring the guest has an exceptional stay, to meet hotel’s high standards of quality.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas such as linen room and laundry areas, according to company procedures and at a level that meets or exceeds company standards.
Responsible for the preventative and repair of the hotel’s mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, etc.
