Assists the Housekeeping Manager in the day-to-day supervising, directing and assuring the completion of all housekeeping tasks assigned to the housekeeping attendants and house persons. Housekeeping Supervisors are to ensure a high degree of cleanliness throughout the guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. They are responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guests’ requests and are to maintain complete knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, services, procedures and standards.

This individual is required to be detailed oriented; guest focused, and must work well in a team environment and enjoys serving customers in a positive, friendly and courteous manner. Oversees and participates in the preparation of food items in accordance with recipes and standards while maintaining a neat, clean and safe work environment.
Performs basic repairs and preventive maintenance on property or facility equipment and systems, including plumbing and electrical systems. Repairs or replaces electrical switches, receptacles, fuses, small light fixtures, and vacuum outlets. Adjusts thermostats to maintain desired temperature. Hangs pictures, bulletin boards, cabinets. May do light painting and other miscellaneous work.
