The opportunity

Delaware North Boston Holdings is hiring a Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you’ll bring your advanced design expertise and creative vision to a wide range of projects that support business development, corporate marketing, and sales initiatives.

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for the design, layout, and production of high-impact materials, including brand identity for new concepts and consumer-facing advertising campaigns aimed at influencing purchasing decisions. You’ll play a key role in elevating our visual storytelling and maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $56,800 – $76,700 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Assists in the overall efforts of the creative services department by maintaining brand guidelines for TD Garden, Boston Bruins and all other in-house brands/business lines that directly relate to revenue generation
  • Diligently work out of our project management system, Salesforce, to maintain organization and accurate reporting outputs as well as utilize content management platforms Box, Slack Microsoft teams to properly store all content and communicate it properly to specific stakeholders
  • Create highly visual creative that inspire customer and consumer decisions
  • Develop and design creative that include brand identity work including logo design, menu design, advertising campaign creative for all tactics, and environmental graphics
  • Lead creative development of a project, present creative concepts to clients, and manage the project from conceptual stage through production
  • Develop creative to meet project brief and objectives, and present creative designs and concept recommendations to management 
  • Scope of work includes all business units and shareholders
  • Provide direction for photography, videography, motion graphics and digital/interactive design
  • Display business acumen and maturity while representing Delaware North
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and design projects to ensure adherence of quality brand standards
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines, and take projects from concept to final stage
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with ability to articulate refined design strategies both visually and verbally
  • Stay abreast of graphic design technology and trends
  • Able to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary collaborative team
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve studio operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.  Gain trust and confidence through technical expertise
  • Passionate, self-motivated and highly collaborative in team environment

More about you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design required
  • Minimum 5-7 years in graphic design, experience with an advertising agency preferred
  • Lead creative development of a project, present creative concepts to clients, and manage the project from conceptual stage through production
  • Deliver on objectives, schedule, quality and budget parameters are met on projects
  • Development of creative that include brand identity work including logo design, menu design, advertising campaign creative for all tactics, and environmental graphics 
  • Well versed in the technical nuances of the Adobe Creative Suite and is comfortable in a range of design mediums from layout to branding and environmental graphics
  • Graphic design skills utilizing Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and desktop publishing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong in digital file organization 
  • Travel up to 10% based on projects
  • A design portfolio is required when interviewing for this position
