 Responsibilities:  

  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order 
  • Attend to customers upon entrance to the restaurant 
  • Present menus and be knowledgeable of menu contents, recipes, and restaurant offerings 
  • Verify guests' identification to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol consumption 
  • Have basic knowledge of menu prices, the composition of items, preparation techniques, and time of preparation. Must be familiar with daily specials and offers to guests 
  • Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff 
  • Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines 
  • Dress in appropriate event staff uniform at all times while also maintaining a professional appearance 
  • Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision 

Requirements:  

  • Prior Food Service experience is ideal, but we are willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training and developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment! 
  • Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions 
  • A genuine passion for the culinary arts, food, and beverage, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues 
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices 
  • Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures 
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring efficient service even during peak dining hours 
  • Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write, and speak fluently 
  • Compensation: $14 + tips
