Responsibilities: The Assistant Director of Housekeeping works with the Executive Housekeeper to supervise the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to our guests according to property objectives. In addition to inspecting rooms and training room attendants, this position will perform cleaning duties in all areas of the hotel. Will need to have administrative experience, including ordering, inventory, and scheduling.  The Assistant Director of Housekeeping is responsible for delivering clean rooms for occupancy that meet the brand’s time, product, and placement standards.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Proficiency in Nepalese language skills are highly desired.
• 2+ years prior supervisory experience in a hotel environment
• Brand experience is preferred 
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse TEAM.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff, guests, and other departments.
• A positive attitude that makes everyone feel welcome.

Compensation

Our superheroes working in NYC have an anticipated compensation salary range of $70,000- $75,000 annually. The actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job, industry, education, and so on.
