The Opportunity
As a Property Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact within the office, playing a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that focuses on delivering high standards of property management and customer service.
What You Get to Do
- Answering Phones and Office Reception: Greet visitors, manage the front desk, and respond to telephone inquiries, ensuring a welcoming environment for prospective and current tenants.
- Scheduling Maintenance: Work with maintenance staff and tenants to schedule routine and emergency maintenance. Ensure requests are handled efficiently and promptly.
- Cleaning and Preparation: Oversee cleaning of office spaces and vacant units. Make sure apartments are prepared for new tenants by coordinating cleaning, repairs, and upgrades.
- Property Tours: Conduct tours for prospective tenants, showcasing the property and available units. Provide information about lease terms, amenities, and community rules.
- Document Management: Collect and process rental applications, leases, Rent and other important documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and company standards.
- Perform other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department.

What Qualifies You
- High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in office administration or property management is a plus.
- Experience in an administrative or customer service role, with a preference for property management or real estate experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
