Summary Description

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility including managing a comprehensive program for maintenance, repair, remodeling, and renovation for the resort casino during the assigned shift. Pay starts at $27/Hr.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
  • During assigned shift, ensures all work order requests relate to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting and other assigned areas are completed properly and timely to meet safety and service standards.
  • Promotes and enforces safety practices and procedures within the department.
  • Prepares reports of department progress or as required by senior management.
  • Responsible for the security of all keys issued, key in inventory, keys destroyed, and keys turned in by other team members during assigned shift.
  • Responds to all emergencies per established procedures, provide expertise, directs team members and resources in the event of an emergency during assigned shift.
  • Responsible for quality consistent presentation of all services delivered to guest.
  • Remains in compliance with current National Electric Code.
  • Assists in training, motivating and supervises staff to ensure that team members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established job requirements.
  • Implements new or improved best practices or procedures.
  • Maintains ongoing knowledge of all aspects of the facilities on property.
  • Schedules department and enforces attendance policies.
  • Ensures that all work is done with care and no damage occurs.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
    Job Specifications

    Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.

    A satisfactory combination of applicable experience and education may be considered in lieu of experience requirements.

  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma. GED, or relevant experience.
  • Journeyman ship in related field; or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Three (3) years of facilities experience in a high volume, complex resort/casino required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Working knowledge, skills and familiarity with building systems, HVAC, Plumbing, Kitchen Mechanics, etc.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480v

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is not required for this position

    WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

    Certification Requirements

    Is this position responsible for selling, serving or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? Yes

    Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License.

    Other Certifications? OSHA 30, Driver License required.

    WarHorse Omaha is excited to share our latest construction updates! Our high-end casino currently features over 400 slot machines, simulcast racing, and in-person sports betting. Our future casino will offer over 1,100 slots and nearly 30 table games.

    Our restaurant provides a quick service menu which includes burgers, chicken, wraps, breakfast items and other apps & finger foods.  We also feature a full-service bar. Non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary.

    We provide over 400 parking spots onsite, and a shuttle circling the lot to take customers from their car to and from the casino.
