As an Associate Property Technology Services Hotel Systems Intake & Strategy, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Property Technology Services team reporting to the Director, Property Technology Services, Hotel Systems Intake & Strategy, you will support projects collaborating with internal business stakeholders and potential vendors to achieve Hilton’s future technology vision for all third-party systems including how to operationalize new technology offerings.

Requirements

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Assist in refining new strategy intakes by documenting detailed use cases and operational needs.
  • Help document country-specific, regional, and global requirements.
  • Maintain system capabilities overviews for specific hotel operations system categories.
  • Help maintain a database of projects and strategies being worked on.
  • Create project and strategy status overviews on a periodic basis (weekly, monthly, ad-hoc).
  • Gather debrief information following an application pilot installation.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with Hilton business requestor to gather information for the technology intake process, documenting and tracking intake & strategy requests.
  • Collaborate with internal product management and technology teams, as well as operations support, front office support, and other relevant teams to gather information to operationalize new solutions.
  • Attend intake and strategy meetings with Property Technology Services colleagues.

What deliverables you will take ownership of: 

  • Validate in conjunction with PTS colleagues and other relevant Hilton internal stakeholders that the products being reviewed can meet Hilton’s network and cyber security standards. 

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Hands-on experience with hospitality operations
  • Experience in on property system capabilities and operational functions
  • This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
  • Travel up to 5%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience 
  • Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in hotel operations
  • Experience with installation and configuration of PMS and third-party hotel operations systems
  • Experience with project management
  • Fluency in an additional language
  • Understanding of hotel systems network and/or cyber security standards
