Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Part-TimeGolf Course Rangerto join the Golf ServicesTeam!Visually stunning and immensely playable, our 18-hole championship golf course is enhanced by natural elements like majestic cypress trees lining the fairways and features a five-tee system to accommodate golfers of every calibre. 

The ideal candidate will have a friendly/outgoing approach and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Previous Golf experience/hospitality experience is a plus!

Shift Pattern: availability to work over weekends and holidays, 2-3 shifts/week, on day-time shifts, starting as early as 6AM and ending as late as 6PM-7PM.

Pay Rate: $10.50 per hour

What will I be doing?

The Part-TimeGolf Course Ranger ensures that members and guests have an enjoyable round of golf. Ensure that all groups do their best to keep the pace of play required, and that players apply proper course etiquette.

  • Greet all members and guests in a positive, enthusiastic and professional manner while informing them on the first tee of our pace of play policies, course conditions, yardage markers, comfort station locations, reminding them to repair ball marks and fill divots and all other pertinent information regarding our facilities. Communicate with each group on the course. Make players aware of their position on the golf course
  • In charge of starting times at course. Keep in constant contact with golf shop for changes, cancellations, singles, etc. Keep pace off the first tee. Turn tee sheet into golf shop at appropriate time. Keep a four hour pass of play. Have players play throw groups that are more than one hole behind
  • Responsible for the appearance of trash, cleaning, bunkers, divots, ball marks, etc. within a hundred yards of them at all times. Fix ball marks, divots and rake bunkers
  • Check score cards, pencils and divot mix on tee boxes and ensure they are filled. Carry the day's tee sheet and ensure head set and radio are always on
  • Upsell future events
