The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park

The Legendary Heart of El Paso

Welcome to The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park — a landmark property that has been reborn as El Paso’s most luxurious boutique hotel. Since its debut in the 1930s, The Plaza has commanded a striking position along the city’s skyline, welcoming A-listers such as Conrad Hilton, Elizabeth Taylor and other Hollywood’s elite and dignitaries. Now, the iconic 130-room hotel is reasserting itself as the starlet of the city and inviting both travelers and locals to step inside and make new, everlasting memories. Whatever draws you here to Texas, you’ll discover a singular stay at The Plaza, which embodies both its glamorous past as well as its modern revival.

An El Paso Icon Since 1930

Once the favorite retreat of Hollywood’s elite, The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park is a monumental fixture in West Texas, returning from a multi-year restoration to mark the true reinvigoration of El Paso. Once the tallest building in El Paso, the 19-story property was one of hotelier Conrad Hilton’s first high-rise hotels, solidifying its position as one of the city’s most celebrated features in the oldest section of downtown.

Modern Luxury With Art Deco Inspirations

When you stay with us at The Plaza, you’ll feel transported. All of our 130 rooms and suites take cues from the Pueblo Revival Art Deco architectural style and the dramatic scenery of surrounding West Texas, including its limitless skies and the rugged peaks of the Franklin Mountains. Discover luxe details — channel-tufted headboards, Matouk linens, Caffe Bruno marble — at every turn, and an expansive art collection that rivals top galleries and museums. Every time you come back to The Plaza, you’ll feel like a modern-day Elizabeth Taylor as you retreat to your thoughtfully furnished guest room.
