Description

The Rental Property Project Supervisor ensures the cleanliness and upkeep of all condos public areas and ensures that Condo Attendants and Housepersons are effectively performing their duties. This role oversees daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning routines for rental properties and ensures timely maintenance by communicating with the Waters Engineer on Duty (EOD) when necessary. While the supervisor's role is primarily one of oversight and delegation, they will perform tasks when needed.

Required Certifications:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18+
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is encouraged.
  • OSHA Hazard Communication Standard training and certification encouraged.

Definition:

The Rental Property Project Supervisor ensures the cleanliness and upkeep of all condos public areas and ensures that Condo Attendants and Housepersons are effectively performing their duties. This role oversees daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning routines for rental properties and ensures timely maintenance by communicating with the Waters Engineer on Duty (EOD) when necessary. While the supervisor’s role is primarily one of oversight and delegation, they will perform tasks when needed.

General Duties:

Supervision:

  • Oversee Condo Attendants and Housepersons, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain a daily schedule and ensure assigned tasks are performed on time.
  • Perform inspections of all public areas in buildings 1-9 and the surrounding grounds, including the Condo Pool, public restrooms, elevators, grills, and trash collection areas.
  • Communicate with the Waters EOD for maintenance requests or issues outside of cleaning responsibilities.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, training, and support as necessary.

Task Management and Routine Maintenance:

Daily Tasks:

  • Supervise or delegate cleaning and upkeep of public areas in all condo buildings (1-9).
  • Ensure all public restrooms are cleaned and stocked.
  • Inspect and clean condo pool areas, grills, trash collection areas, and elevators.
  • Oversee trash removal from public areas, ensuring trash bins are emptied into dumpsters.
  • Address immediate cleaning or maintenance needs and ensure timely reporting.

Weekly Tasks:

  • Ensure dumpsters are emptied into the compactor.
  • Pressure wash ground floor elevator landings.

Monthly Tasks:

  • Perform or supervise deep cleaning of public restrooms.
  • Power wash condo sidewalks.

Quarterly Tasks:

  • Oversee pressure washing of all walkways for condo buildings 1-9.

Problem Solving and Communication:

  • Communicate issues with the Waters EOD to resolve maintenance problems quickly.
  • Coordinate with management on any issues that need escalated attention or repairs.
  • Keep a detailed log of tasks completed and any problems encountered for reporting purposes.

Support and Collaboration:

  • Step in and perform tasks when necessary, particularly during high occupancy or short-staffed periods.
  • Collaborate with Condo Attendants, Housepersons, and the Waters EOD to maintain standards of cleanliness and safety.

Employment Standards:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18+
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred, especially in housekeeping or facilities management.
  • Must possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient in time management and task delegation.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/move up to 15 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to assess the cleanliness and condition of various areas.
  • Must be able to interact with staff, guests, and owners in a professional and courteous manner
