Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Audit Part-time to join our team at Origin Kansas City. The Night Audit Part-time will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audits of hotel transactions and prepare reports for management
• Verify and balance all revenue and settlement accounts
• Process and post room charges and taxes to guest accounts
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with front desk duties as needed, including check-ins and check-outs
• Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests by monitoring surveillance cameras and conducting regular patrols
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in accounting or hotel operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
