Position Summary

The Corporate Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will lead the FP&A department, providing strategic financial insights, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting decision-making across the organization. This role is critical for enhancing financial performance, aligning financial planning with the company’s strategic goals, and ensuring robust financial analysis and reporting.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·         Partner with the CFO and senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and plans.

·         Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

·         Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

·         Oversee the development of financial forecasts and models to predict future financial performance.

·         Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning.

·         Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to senior management.

·         Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.

·         Develop and implement performance management frameworks to optimize financial performance.

·         Evaluate the cost structure of the organization and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

·         Assess the financial viability of potential investments and projects, providing recommendations.

·         Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

·         Monitor financial market trends and their impact on the organization.

·         Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.

·         Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team and maintains the highest level of confidentiality regarding information and work product.

·         Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.

·         Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises a small number of employees in technical roles. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/Or Experience

1.      Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

2.      MBA or relevant advance degree preferred.

3.      CPA, CFA, or relevant professional certifications are a plus.

4.      Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a relate field.

5.      Proven track record of leading FP&A functions and managing teams.

6.      Experience in a large corporation or a complex organizational structure is preferred.

8.      Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.

10.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

11.  This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year,  an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
