Join Our Team as an Overnight Utility Attendant!

Are you passionate about serving others? As an Overnight Utility Attendant at The Oread Hotel, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, you’ll be at the heart of our hotel, interacting with guests and ensuring their experience is exceptional. This role involves working the late shift without direct management supervision, so your responsibility is even greater as you help close out the business day and assist guests during non-traditional hours. Your proactive, responsive, and caring nature will make all the difference.

Job Duties Include:

• Cleaning and maintaining the hotel lobby, restrooms, meeting rooms, elevators, outdoor areas, etc.
• Using buffers and other equipment to clean floors and carpets in common areas.
• Working with night auditors to handle guest requests.
• Handling minor maintenance requests as appropriate.
• Performing additional housekeeping tasks like dusting and vacuuming.
• Inspecting property areas for safety and security concerns.
• Performing check-in and check-out procedures.
• Handling phone systems, transferring calls, and managing reservations.
• Verifying, balancing, and reviewing hotel room availability.
• Being well-versed in Night Audit procedures.
• Stocking public areas with supplies and setting up meeting rooms for events.
• Contributing to a positive work environment for our diverse team and guests.
• Assisting in all departments as needed to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel, including housekeeping, laundry, general public areas, breakfast area, meeting rooms, and maintenance.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Ensuring guest safety by monitoring abnormal activity inside and outside the hotel.
• Monitoring weather issues that could become threatening to our guests.
• Enjoying working semi-independently with a winning personality and high sense of responsibility.
