Bartender

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1 year+ of bartending experience.

• 1 year+ of fine dining or high-end resort experience.

• Extensive liquor, beer, wine, and mixology knowledge.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Pleasant and helpful personality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Immediately greet guests as they enter the restaurant. 

• Take and return guests' coats as needed.

• Compose and be knowledgeable of standard drinks and liquors or wines specific to the restaurant bar.

• Plan and maintain par levels for bar inventory. 

• Prepare daily orders for bar items to maintain pars.

• Responsible for cash handling and bank procedures as outlined by General Manager or supervising agent.

• Perform accurate bar inventory on the 10th, 20th, and last day of each month or as deemed necessary by General Manager.

• Responsible for learning suggestive selling techniques and using them during services.

• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas that apply to the bar.

• Maintain a perfectly crisp uniform.

• Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

• Deliver cocktails to tables as needed.

• Assist in other Food and Beverage departments as needed.

ENVIRONMENT

• Dimly lit, carpeted, climate-controlled environment. Hard kitchen floors with occasional slippery or greasy areas. Handling hot china and silver.
