Director of Sales and Marketing

The Ontario Airport Hotel is under new ownership and is currently undergoing a full renovation to transform our 309-room property into a premier destination for travelers. We are excited to enhance our offerings and create unforgettable experiences for our guests. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing initiatives. This role is crucial in driving revenue, building brand awareness, and positioning the hotel as a top choice for both leisure and business travelers.

Key Responsibilities

• The Director of Sales & Marketing will report to the General Manager
• Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to expand customer base
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential business opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
• Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving targets

Requirements:

• Four-year college degree required; additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, hospitality management, marketing or communications a plus.
• 5 Years of Sales Leadership Experience in a Full-Service Hotel required
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations
• Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
• Hotel experience required
